Asthma problems can worsen at any time of the year due to weather changes. This disease is mostly hereditary. 

Symptoms of Asthma-

1) Constant cough. Especially at night and early in the morning there is more coughing. 

2) Asthma patients have wheezing with every breath. 

3) Feeling pressure in the chest. It feels as if something is pressing on the chest. 

4) Constant shortness of breath is one of the symptoms of asthma.  

However, it does not mean that every asthmatic will have these symptoms. Many times there are no symptoms at all. And in some cases, even if there are such symptoms, it is seen that he does not have asthma. So take medicine only after doctor's advice. 

Generally, excessive running, jogging, stress, cold air and certain drugs can lead to asthma or the discomfort of asthma patients increases. Besides, the possibility of getting affected by this disease also increases if someone has asthma in the family. Even if you have an allergy problem, chances of asthma increase. Apart from this, asthma can also be caused by pet dander, smoking, pollution, and obesity.

Medical science has many treatments for asthma. But you can easily get immediate relief at home in natural ways. Know the easy ways-

Mustard oil

Mix a little camphor with mustard oil. Now massage the mixture well on the chest. This will give you immediate relief from asthma. If you want, you can heat the oil lightly.

Figs are known as a great medicine for asthma patients. Soak dried figs in water overnight. Drink this water regularly in the morning on an empty stomach. 

ginger

Almost everyone is familiar with the medicinal properties of ginger. But it works like magic to cure asthma. You can eat ginger, honey and pomegranate together 2 to 3 times a day. 

Coffee

Coffee contains caffeine and is very beneficial for asthma patients. It helps in breathing easily by keeping the nose clear. If you don't like coffee. In that case you can have tea. But do not eat more than 3 cups a day. 

Belly breathing technique

This technique will keep air moving in your lungs. No matter how you sit or lie down, make sure you can breathe properly! Breathe slowly through the nose. As you inhale, push your belly out against your chest. Exhale slowly by pushing your belly inward. Usually shortness of breath is twice as high as breathing.

Also to cure asthma:-

  • If you mix camphor with mustard oil and massage that oil regularly on the chest, you get relief from asthma.
  • Mix few drops of eucalyptus oil in water and heat it and take its vapor regularly.
  • Make a mixture of currant juice with a little honey and ginger juice. Consume this mixture 2-3 times a day. Get relief from asthma.
  • Black tea or black coffee can also provide relief from asthma.
  • Include foods rich in omega 3, vitamin C, magnesium, folate in the diet.
